American Legion - Earl Graham Post 159
Bryan Texas

American Legion Post 159 offers a variety of social and service-oriented activities for its members. These activities include but are not limited to:

  • Monthly meal and business meeting - This is held on the first Thursday of the month at our Legion Hall. Happy hour begins at 6:00, with a pot-luck dinner following at 7:00, and the regular business meeting at 8:00. This is a great opportunity for Legionnaires and their families to visit and network.
  • Community service - We participate in a variety of community service programs ranging from school awards, Boy's and Girls State, patriotic holiday ceremonies, and community outreach.
  • Honor Guard - Post 159 has an active Honor Guard complete with dress uniforms and a rifle firing detail. This unit stays busy providing military honors at veterans funerals, welcoming returning troops, and presenting the colors community activities.
  • Military Family Support Group - "We've been there. We're here for you now." The purpose of Military Family Support Group 159 is to provide assistance to families of service members. Services provided range from assisting with home maintenance, lawn care, babysitting, or any other assistance needed while your family member is away.
  • Post Leadership/Administrative Activities- With positions ranging from service as a post officer, to assisting in organizing and hosting events, there is always a need for volunteers.
